While Myanmar's regime Friday restricted the rush of international aid offered to help hungry and homeless cyclone survivors, the government was exporting tons of rice through its main port.

DASSK, you are brave, intelligent and courageous while retaining your dignity, elegance and selflessness. The evil, cowardly and corrupt reflect the ugliness of greed and self interest. What an incredible future there is for Burma if you and your people are set free from this iniquitous decadence.

Singapore & Malaysia are quietly taking food from the mouths of the victims while publicly displaying their "compassion & kindness" ..... it would be quite easy to cancel the existing contract and redistribute this food to the people who are most in need.

The New York Times 12 May 2008
"In the port at Yangon, shipments of rice were being loaded onto two freighters bound for Malaysia and Singapore, apparently as part of a pre-existing contract."

The regime is still exporting the rice at world market prices and pockets their families and rest for the difference.
